Maryann Scott, of Vero Beach, became enraged when her husband hid her $15,000 ring and would not return it. As the couple’s relationship recently deteriorated, Mr. Scott thought hiding the ring would protect his investment. Mr. Scott was partially right. The ring was safe but his testicles were not. When Maryann Scott was unable to locate the ring, she confronted her husband with a knife. Instead of stabbing her husband, she chose the arguably more lethal choice- a firm two minute testicular grab and hold. Mr. Scott called 911 and the Sheriff’s Office responded to arrest Maryann Scott for domestic violence battery.  Mr. Scott preserved the evidence of the domestic violence battery by photographing the “red marks and bruising” to his private area.
