An abrupt lane change by a motorcycle on Interstate I-275 started a four car crash on the Howard Franklin Bridge.  Justin Mullins, from Pinellas Park, was driving on a Kawasaki motorcycle with Jessica Mullins.  The Florida Highway Patrol investigated the crash scene and believed Mr. Mullins made an lane change causing his motorcycle to hit a Toyota Camry.  The impact sent the motorcycle into the side of a Toyota FJ Cruiser.  Jessica Mullins survived the crash with minor injuries.  Justin Mullins life was taken when another vehicle struck him.   Mr. Mullins was 26 years old.

The Howard Franklin Bridge connects the cities of St. Petersburg and Tampa.  The bridge is very heavily traveled all hours of the day and days of the week.  The accident impacted traffic for hours as the Florida Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
