How can I become familiar with cases like mine?

Keith Williamson, along with a group of other motorcycles, was travelling at an excessive rate of speed over the Courtney Campbell Causeway on February 20, 2013. A Clearwater Police Officer used his radar to clock Williamson going 125 mph. The police officer initiated a traffic stop and pursued the motorcycle for the excessive speed.
The pursuit of the motorcycle quickly ended per pursuit policy of the police department as it was apparent the motorcycle was not going to stop for the officer. A short time later, the same motorcycle barreled into the back of a parked Florida Highway Patrol cruiser providing notice to drivers of the active construction zone.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene and his passenger was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital. Trooper Dawayne Maddux suffered minor injuries from the impact.
