Q: Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) denied my application for sealing or expunging my criminal record, what should I do?

A: FDLE does make mistakes and if you suspect a mistake was made then you must file an objection to the decision and appeal the finding.  Your time frame to appeal the decision is limited so you must work fast.  Don’t be afraid to call FDLE directly and speak to a representative  who can provide further information.
