You’ve got so many questions. We’ll give you answers.

Q: Does Hillsborough County have a criminal diversion program?

A: Yes, Hillsborough County has two different programs.  The felony program in Tampa is known as Pretrial Intervention Program (MIP).  It is available to most third degree felony charges.  The other program is for misdemeanors and it is know as the Misdemeanor Intervention Program (MIP).

The decision to enter the diversion program should be carefully made.  Consult an attorney before you decide to opt out of the program.  Though you may think opting out is the best decision now.  In 10 years from now, as you search for a job, you may learn that you made the biggest mistake of your life.

Don’t regret your decision.  Call for a free consultation and make the right decision.  Tampa, 813-333-6517
