Pinellas Battery on Bus Dropped

An intoxicated woman entered a bus and refused to pay the bus fare.  The intoxicated woman was instructed to pay or leave.  The woman refused to exit.  The allegations are that our client became involved in an argument with this intoxicated woman and then pushed her from the bus.  Upon our investigation we informed the Pinellas County Office of the State Attorney of the erratic behavior of the alleged victim and provided addition details that our client believed the intoxicated woman was going to strike him.  The Office of the State Attorney made a wise decision to drop the charges.
